Volunteer With Papal Zouave International
Papal Zouave International relies on volunteers to help recover, preserve, translate, publish, and share the history of the Papal Zouaves and related Catholic military movements. Whether your skills are academic, technical, creative, or practical, there are many ways to contribute.
Translation & Republishing
Much of the most important material relating to the Papal Zouaves has never been translated into English or has been out of print for generations.
Papal Zouave International publishes primarily in English because English serves as the modern lingua franca, allowing historical material from many different countries and languages to reach the widest possible international audience.
Ways to Help
- Original Translation — translating historical books, documents, letters, articles, and other materials into English.
- Translation Editing / MTPE — reviewing and improving machine-translated text through a Machine Translation Post-Editing process to produce accurate, readable English editions.
- Republishing Out-of-Print Works — helping prepare older translated or English-language works for republication.

Writers and researchers can contribute original historical articles to PZI's Fidei et Virtuti journal.
